The Conspiracy Behind Calling People “Conspiracy Theorists”

When you hear the label “conspiracy theorist” it is probably being used by someone who doesn’t understand how the application of the phrase originated, and may not understand how government works. If he or she did, the phrase would never leave their lips.

Certain words or phrases seem very straight forward and harmless. However, it is when certain words, phrases or labels are strategically put into use in public discourse do some terms or labels begin to take on an intended identity. The label “conspiracy theorist” was first coined and then popularized in the late 60s by strategic design. It was a very deliberate brainchild of the CIA and co-opted by President Nixon in order to attack and stigmatize any person, organization or entity that had an opinion against the government narrative. It used to be noble, courageous and good journalism to dive deeper, speak truth to power, and find information beyond what was publicized in the mainstream media. Labels like the aforementioned helped to thwart those initiatives. The term “conspiracy theorist” has been injected and repeated over and over with negative connotations and sometimes ridicule. So nowadays even when the government is deceiving the people, as it very often is, if an entity presents a case contrary to that narrative, it will be labeled a conspiracy theory. It never used to be that way, but it is now.

The 60s were a turbulent time in which the government was being exposed for a great many things and things needed to be done in order to ominously regain control. They had just assassinated a US President. The country was also being called out on injustices and dealing with pressure from the Civil Rights Movement. They also orchestrated the killings or the “silencing” of multiple civil rights leaders. The government was also contending with growing outrage and antiwar movements as we entered into a very unpopular war on weak justifications. There was a sitting president who was being exposed for his scandals and secret dealings. There was a growing pervasive distrust of a corrupt nation and many independent entities produced information that exposed covert operations. And there were many. To counter-attack scrutiny from an informed populace, the CIA and FBI rolled out covert ways to psychologically control the masses and to dominate the public discourse. The strategic delegitimizing of any entity that criticized government operations or exposed deceptions against powerful entities was put into effect so powerful that we are in its grips this very moment, and most do not realize it.

Zerohedge.com reports how in 1967, the CIA wrote a dispatch which coined the term “conspiracy theories”. The dispatch was marked “psych” –  short for “psychological operations” or disinformation –  and “CS” for the CIA’s “Clandestine Services” unit. The result: In present day the populace at large is doubting things that might be true and is simultaneously defending government sponsored lies, delusions and deceptions every single day without even realizing it.

People have absolutely no idea how they are routinely deceived and  kept in control. Most are not aware of the subtle use of psychology, mind control or the power of coded words. There are many psychological tricks that were employed on the people and are still intact and used very routinely to present day.

The rabbit hole goes much deeper than that. What many people may not be aware of is that the CIA and FBI secretly flood the market so to speak, and financially bankroll several popular “conspiracy theorists”.  Agents are covertly very active on social media and implant trolls, or people to make comments on popular blog sites to lead the public, and they also set up people as conspiracy theorists. These people then champion the same talking points as many conspiracy theorist communities, but the fake “shill” conspiracy theorists also slowly add completely ridiculous, far-fetched elements to the conspiracies on purpose. The powers that be dispatch them to do this because it keeps the uninformed but rational person from ever getting around to the truth after being turned off by the far-fetched elements of the conspiracy theorist narrative. The uninformed but rational person is also simultaneously tricked into lumping all conspiracy theorists into a category of tinfoil hat wearing loons. As a result highly intelligent people with factual inside information carefully make the information available, but most usually choose to remain silent.

And that is the hardcore, very unpopular truth. The image of the paranoid tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist was an invention of the government to keep all of us stupid and to steer the average person toward doubting and ridiculing anything that isn’t “official”.

    Rampant Media Indoctrination

What keeps the majority of people enslaved to government concocted delusions is of course TV,  the entertainment industry and the corporate mainstream media. Very few people understand how things work and that they are currently under various forms of mind control. Ironically and unfortunately it’s so deep, that people are trained to beseech reassurance from the entities that are blatantly deceiving them for confirmation of information.

An Op/Ed written by Tim Watts featured on News Focus reads,

“The truth is not as you know it. Our faith in the media myth has been our Achilles heel.

Many have realized long ago that our politicians will lie to us at the drop of a hat, but most have no clue that our news media lies and deceives us just as much, if not more soWe have been deceived by our media to such an extent, mostly because people are too trusting of our news system. They very naively believe that broadcasters and journalists would never lie to us. This trust has worked against us with devastating consequences which are unknown to most.”

Ironically in this indoctrinated environment, people who draw intelligent conclusions from independent research are treated terribly. The opinions drawn from independent critical thought and intelligence are often very unpopular because they dared not listen to the TV and actually did or subscribed to independent investigative research. Of course people don’t really know either way, but people will try to discredit the information and reprimand critical thinkers because they want to redirect them to what the corporate appointed “smart person” or “professional” on TV said that disproves their fact supported research, simply because they said it.

Why You Think The Way You Do

    conspiracy-theory

There are lots of terrible things done by the government or big corporate entities, and they keep happening primarily because most people are duped and lulled into thinking these things would never happen. So nowadays if anyone tries to explain covert realities to people, like the fact there is such a thing as geoengineering that is happening now, or that some celebrities or public figures who are political enemies or for racial, socio-economic or political reasons get character assassinated, and for other reasons like maintaining corporate power structures, some are killed and their deaths are covered up with fictional tales, or that what we know about 911 or the war on terror may not be what you’re being told on your corporate news channels, etc. etc,  that individual just might be called a “conspiracy theorist”, and written off. Not because the aforementioned theories have no truth to them, but because the powers that be have conspired against you long ago to not believe anything they don’t want you to believe. And no that is no “theory”, it’s a provable fact if you care to look.
