Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, had concerns that his former trainer (handler), Harley Pasternak, had been stalking him. On Monday, November 20th, 2023, Pasternak was making dinner reservations in the lobby of the same hotel in Atlantis The Royal Dubai resort. West expressed concerns he was being followed. When Ye attempted to make contact, Pasternak had the hotel staff call security.
Pasternak, who is Jewish, could be one of the people Ye was ranting about on X.
A witness reported to TMZ that Ye attempted to hug Pasternak, but Pasternak recoiled and had security called. Pasternak then told the hotel concierge in French that “that guy is crazy”.
This wouldn’t be the first time Pasternak called authorities on Ye, even when their relationship was supposedly good.
Several months prior, West exposed texts showing that Pasternak once maniacally threatened to institutionalize the controversial rapper with false claims. He threatened to put Ye into “zombie land”.
In 2016, the fitness coach called the police during a workout session after he claimed the rapper was acting erratically. Later, Ye was then committed for temporary psychosis.
To explain why Pasternak just happened to be in Dubai at the same time as Ye and in the very same hotel, periodicals have reported that he has contract relationships with many gyms in the Middle East to design and/or improve facilities. It is also unclear how Pasternak possesses the power to get certain powerful celebrities institutionalized.
