CAUGHT: Israeli Actress Pretended to be Palestinian Nurse

A viral video circulated around on social media featuring a Palestinian nurse talking about the evil Hamas was doing in cutting medical supplies, and urged people to flee Palestine immediately. The nurse was seemingly repeating and validating IDF talking points. However, the woman who posed as a nurse at a Palestinian hospital was not a nurse at all. She was exposed to be Hannah Abutbul, a former Israel TV actress and digital content creator with her own YouTube channel.

@hotspotmedia She’s correctly identifying the horrific conditions in these hospitals, but claims it’s Hamas not Israel creating them #israel#israeli#palestine#gaza#gazahospital#nurse#nurselife#fake#actress#hotspotmedia♬ where is my mind (piano version) – your movie soundtrack

The irony is that this tactic was learned from genuine brave healthcare professionals posting covered-up atrocities during the COVID pandemic when some hospitals were not treating patients properly, preventing people from entering facilities, letting people die, and marking all deaths as COVID-related regardless if they were or not. Consequently, people began to trust social media more than mainstream news programs.  Knowing this was effective we are now seeing copy-cats and hired crisis actors staging these types of things for different post-pandemic events.

Whether it was meant as satire, an attention-seeking stunt or propaganda is unknown. There aren’t many mainstream news platforms covering this or things like it popping up because most of Western media is unfortunately complicit with protecting narratives.  Regardless, the video is one of many reasons why many world nations are continuing to lose trust in any information coming from the IDF.
